PROJECT BRIEF

Kardan were engaged by Senses WA to design and construct a versatile therapy garden space to be used as a practical learning space for real life challenges faced by clients, a functional area to host functions and as an outdoor oasis for clients and staff to enjoy.

Inspired by the projects location, Armadale and Perth, the end result is a uniquely designed garden space that nurtures the senses and creates an inviting stress-free area for staff and clients. The project includes a variety of hard and soft landscaping elements that have all been carefully selected to fit the brief and create a relaxing environment.

Some hardscaping elements included on the project are a flowing water feature with hand water pump and accompanying custom-designed sculptures, two mobile veggie planter boxes, winding paths and wheelchair accessible decking areas, a pavilion and outdoor seating. These elements are accompanied by a series of natural rockeries, grass plantings and pockets of green that add to the serene environment.

Kardan has created a beautiful outdoor environment for staff and clients to wind down in with high-quality finishes and thoughtful design decisions.
