PROJECT BRIEF:

The Greenscape Collective were tasked with creating a welcoming and sprawling garden space for an elderly couple who were settling into their new home at Regents Garden Retirement Village. The couple were previous market gardeners whose land once occupied the same space the retirement village now sits, making the build very significant and important to the client. Approached by the daughter of the elderly couple, The Greenscape Collective were approached to create a forever garden for the elderly couple that they could enjoy and occupy their time in.

Working collaboratively with the daughter during the design process, the team at Greenscape Collective delivered a unique and thoughtful garden that met the needs and lifestyle of the elderly couple. Some features of the landscape include, native plantings, a raised vegetable garden, potting bench with storage for gardening tools and supplies, small reflection pond with fountain, an alfresco area for lounging and dining, a seating area and hanging basket vertical garden.

The Greenscape Collective has created a high-end garden space with specific outdoor zones for gardening, entertaining and relaxing. The team has achieved a landscape that will cater to the needs of the elderly couple and give them a tranquil outdoor space to enjoy for many years to come.
