Biddy Giles Park is a 9000 square metre community space featured at South Village Kirrawee. This new park pays homage to its brick-works past and traditional owners. The use of innovative design, recycled bricks and textured rocks in the gabion walls have created a special all abilities play space.

An energised School community partnered with ULP to develop the space. This inner city location is home to an engaged and vibrant School community. The design was to create diverse, engaging areas for learning and play while respecting the strong heritage and community values that were underpinning the project.

With proximity to the coast, Sippy Downs Early Learning Centre aimed to celebrate the local environment throughout the centre and outdoor play space. The coastal inspiration is immediately evident in the unique, custom designed water play zone. Fabricated ‘Wave’ water sprayers with decorative coloured panels create a dynamic focal point, which are supported by in-ground water jets and themed wet pour rubber surface. A deck with expressed carved log posts creates a “Jetty” appearance.

Wilfred Taylor Reserve Nature Playspace is the largest regional playspace in Adelaide’s South. It is the first project to be delivered in response to the Wilfred Taylor Reserve Master Plan (2019) and attracted over 50,000 visitors in its opening month.
